The Bears
have a bye this week however they may face their biggest battle yet
when this Wednesday The NRL Partnership Committee meets to consider
whether or not to expand the NRL competition.

Market: Singo Sums Up Gosford Bid And Says It Won't Cost A Cent.
Again Singo is expressing his disbelieve of the indecision to award the
franchise to the Central Coast Bears and again expressing his angst
that the ARL members of the Committee is not proactive about the return
of a traditional Club to the NRL. Norths great Greg Florimo has talked
of the "travesty of injustice" after the Bears were "encouraged" to
move to the Central Coast in his article: From The Bears
