Gary Larson’s tireless efforts as a coach may not earn him a premiership — at least not in 2004— however he will certainly take some beating when it comes to the local quote of the year.

When asked about the pool recovery session, the former Queensland and Australian great raised his only smile of the night when he remarked: “I might throw a few piranhas in there!”.

If that can’t snap anyone out of a form slump, then nothing can.
