North Sydney The Surprise Packets

North Sydney, the Rip’s opponents this weekend, have been a surprise packet in the competition. They soundly defeated the Rip at Mingara in round nine and will be even harder to handle on their home ground. The Rip will take on a different look with the availability of some additional players. Coach Charlie Lucas will be looking to the likes of Brett Eccieston, David Hyde, Peter Griffin and David Edwards to maintain their good form. He is also hopeful the good form shown last week by Garnett Donnelly will continue. A team effort is required if the Rip is to make an impact on this weekend’s game.
