In what may or may not become a local darby of the future foundation
club North Sydney had a strong win against newcomers The Central Coast
Rip.
The Mighty Bears performed excemlary in the first half keeping the Rip
well contained finishing the 40 with a 24-0 lead.
In the opening of the second half however the Rip caught the Bears
unawares with two quick trys before North Sydneyfinally proved
themselves domaint ina 42-12 win.
"They did the job" said Jersey Flegg coach Josh White, intimating the
boys can inprove on their good form. "We were disappointed they ran in
the two trys".
"Unstoppable with the ball" is how Josh described Forward Chyne Tickle
also naming Josh Lewis as a stand out.
Their next aponents are top of the table Parramatta a win against them
will be a great achievement for the team.
North Sydney 42 (J Lewis 2, T Woodbine 2, N Ward, J Russell, C Condon,
S Matoara tries L Tamaari 3, B Poisel 2 goals) defeated Central Coast
12 (G Donnelly, M Stott tries M Stott 2 goals).
